The location was IDEAL and the staff was nice and great during the whole stay! And it was also so close to the pub where wifi is free and good signal, Huntingdon and the Dog and Castle.

Triple room with private entrance, tea and coffee maker, and flat-screen TV with streaming services was like a cozy little hideout, perfect for winding down after a day of hiking. It felt like having my own secret lair, complete with a hidden stash of wine for indulgent evenings.
Slight updating needed.

I recently stayed at a fabulous location with friendly and helpful staff. The separate chalet style rooms were perfect for staying with dogs, providing a quieter stay. The towels were of excellent quality, just like in a hotel. The freshly cooked breakfast was delicious, and they even served sausages for our furry friend. The pub atmosphere was great, and I could imagine that the food would be excellent based on how busy the dining areas were. The newly installed outdoor pool looked amazing.
Couldn't find any faults here! 😊

Quirky ex-Masterchef host serves delicious dinner. Friendly locals pull their own pints. Plumbing mishap led to exciting room change. Wifi and TV not available due to storm. Charming staff and rustic atmosphere make for a memorable stay.

The separate chalet-style rooms were perfect for my business trip, providing a quiet and private space. the towels provided were of high quality, adding to the overall comfort of the room.
There were some minor inconveniences during my stay that could be improved. I noticed that there were some minor maintenance issues, such as a broken tap and a temporary power outage, which affected my overall experience.

For the price we paid, we couldn't have asked for better value. The room, although slightly eccentric, had its own separate entrance and the towels were top-notch. The location of the hotel was fantastic, and the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating.
The breakfast selection could have been improved with more variety.
